Insulation for duct fittings

How do you get the "Add Insulation" and "Add Lining" functionality to work with a customised duct fitting family, I have made it as a sweep same as the images of the "out of the box" bend attached, only I cant assign the sub catagory of "insulation" to the solid form like in this family to my custom family?

Where do they come from if not in; Object styles, model objects.

Or am I missing something all together?

Please refer to attached RFA file of the fitting I am trying to make 🙂

Todd,

Remove the duplicate solids and add the connectors with the width and height parameters linked to your parameters.

This will allow the insulation component to function.

Refer attached.

This is now in 2014 but the function is the same.

Give me a call if you need additional information

Hy, we can't get it to work with some more complex fittings. Could you help us with that? This family generates insulation with a completely wrong geometry.
