Hvac layout is under the link

Scenario: MEP project with a linked Arch model. The arch model is set via VG with a view template within the Arch model to show the Room Tags.
When we lay duct or equipment that is on top of the linked in Room Tag, the tag breaks the duct/equipment. How do I prevent this?
I have a screen shot for reference.

I think everyone's having this problem, it may well be a bug.

We have had this issue for things such as UFAD systems, etc.

Generally, we have either created views to work in that have a view range which doesnt include the raised floor.

If that wont work, you could change your view to wireframe while you work.

Sorry, this is an oldish post, I haven't been here in a while.

This is a feature not a bug.
The text always floats to the top in plan view so it can remain readable. If you don't need it to be readable perhaps you should switch it off. If you do need it to be readable then it is working fine. You might want to consider switching it off anyway, and putting in your own room tags, so you can relocate them to a position where they dont clash with the plant.
