How to have duct and pipe connectors in various location for a single family?

I have attached a portion of a submittal I am turning into a Family.  As you can see there are many options for the location of duct and pipe connections in this single type of Water Source Heat Pump.  I would want to have various family types in a single family that will have different location for the connectors.  I have been so far unsuccessful.  I tried to create extrusion with a yes no parameter to hide the place the connecter attaches to but it does not react the way I intend.

Hi max.a.hollander,

You can't set visibility for connector. All the connectors added in the family will show up in the project. You can add parameter to constrain the extrusion location and set different parameter value for different family type. Then the connector locaion will change based on this parameter value. But this method only applies to that the connector number is the same among different types.

Thanks.

If you feel a reply post solve your issues, you can click the Options button on the right of the reply title, and select "Accept as Solution". See attachment "accept as solution.JPG".

Thanks.
