How to change the size of a heat pump to export to AutoCAD MEP

I am new to Revit and i am trying to change the size of a climateMaster heat pump to a larger size for my drawing. Revit files come in one size and need to be modified to get the larger cabinet size. How is this accomplished?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

Is it possible to share the family so we can check the parameters.

Hi,

First you place the heat pump to your view.

Select the heatpump and click Edit Type button in Properties tab. If you can not see the properties tab right click and select properties.

In the window opened, click Duplicate on upper right, give a name to the dublicated family.

Then change the dimensions as you require like Water Outlet Radius etc. You may see the dimensions down under Dimensions group.

You will have a new heatpump. You can duplicate the family as much different dimension as you need.

Hope this helps.
