I am trying to insert a gate valve in to my project. I have loaded in the default Revit one and the size only goes to 150mm DIA! I need one that is 500 dia and maybe bigger. I thought the default one would be able to adjust to the pipe size like bends/tees can do. I don't want to have to draw a few different sizes of valves so id there any way I can amend the defualt one or change the look up table to make it bigger?
Probably best way would be to create a type catalogue which incorporates the existing values and additional ones, unless you want to use manufacturer specific sizes/dims. If memory serves correctly, pipe accessories aren't related to lookup tables so that option won't work.
