Functional PTACs

Has anyone been successful with creating a PTAC (face-hosted) family that registers airflow to a space (Actual Supplied Airflow) and can have its own dedicated circuit on a Panel? I find if I set the Family Category and Parameters to Air Terminal, I can get the PTAC to register airflow to the Space but I cannot create a dedicated circuit (only connect to an existing one). If I set the Family Category and Parameters to Mechanical Equipment, I cannot get the PTAC to register airflow to the Space but I can create a dedicated circuit.

Put a grille on the face of the PTAC with a short piece of duct. After all that is what a ptac is. A piece of mechanical equipment with a very short piece of duct and a grille (generally noisey, does RMEP do noise?)
