Extracting duct length in a schedule

So my question is, is there a way that you could populate a schedule with all of the duct lengths of specific duct types in the model?

And if yes, can the family file be modified to assign a cost per foot or meter of duct, so that the value would show up in a schedule as a function of the length of duct in the model?

Thanks

It should be pretty simple to create the Duct Schedule and sort by the "Type" Parameter under the Sorting/Grouping tab. Under that same tab, clear the checkbox at the bottom for 'ItemIze every instance'. Then, go to the Formatting tab and under the Length field, check the box for 'Calculate totals'.

As for the cost per square foot, this should be possible through the use of Calculated Parameters and the use of the default Cost parameter. If you have any questions about creating the formulas, don't hesitate to ask.
