Electrical one line diagrams/risers

Just wondering if anyone makes their one line diagrams and/or riser diagrams in Revit?  Currently we are just linking in acad drawings but are hoping for a way to move away from cad links in general.

We still use imported AutoCAD. We did try making them in Revit once, but we didn't see any benefit. When Revit is capable of intelligent riser diagrams, we will use them. Until then, AutoCAD is faster, has superior tools, and in general has a better workflow for drafting. We see no purpose to doing this extra work in Revit for virtually zero gain.

One of our initial thoughts was to create Sections Views of all of the equipment and then line them up on a Sheet and draw the linework on top of those. That way, we could at least Tag the equipment. We've not gotten around to testing this yet.
