I have been drawing pipework using the defualt Revit MEP sizes and everything is OK but today I have had to create a custom pipe size for Ductile Iron. The pipe itself draws OK and to the right size but the bend that is placed is tiny! what is causing this and how to I get the Ductile Iron fitting to draw as it should?
The image attached shows the original 900 pipe with the correct bend and the pipe below shows my new custom 885 pipe with the very small bend.
That is usually a lookup table issue. The pipe might be Ductile iron, but are your fittings PVC? Search the post for lookup tables and you'll probably get your answer.
