Back Saving

We are using Revit MEP 2009, but our consultants are using 9.1 and some are using 8. Is there a way to backsave our Revit files so they can view them. The option isnt in the save dialog box, any help would be great!

Thank You

Hi J -

Unfortunately it is not possible to save to older versions in Revit. All of the people working on a project are required to run the same "release" of a Revit vertical (i.e. MEP 2009 can share with Arch 2009 and Structure 2009, but no one on 2009 can share with anyone using 2008).

I would recommend a major push on your part to have your subs and clients upgrade to the newest version. You on the MEP side definately do not want to go back. There are enuff substantial improvements to the 2009 architectural and structural programs that to remain behind is very....ummm how should I say this..."unwise".

Its an excellent marketing strategy on Autodesks part. Other software vendors have been doing it for years.
I understand there are compatibility issues between service packs too, can anyone confirm this?
We are sitting on at least two service pack upgrades to the 2009 version, because our boffins believe we neeed to upgrade all offices in multiple countries simultaneously.
