Associate Pipe Sytem to Pipe Type

Hello,

Is there a shortcut/trick/step that anybody knows that will associate a Pipe System Name to a Pipe Type or vice versa.

When you draw pipe these are the following things to be aware of;

1. System Name

2. Pipe type.

3. Size

4. Offset

5. Workset

Thats a lot of drop down box to select & pick.

Is there a way that when I select the Sytem Type it will change the Pipe Type to the desired one?...One last thing to worry about.

Hi EddieFromDC,

System Type is an instance parameter in the pipe properties, and System Type mainly defines some mechanical properties, and Rise/Drop symbol, it is not relevant to a specific pipe type.

So when select a different System Type, it will not change the Pipe Type.
