Assign different material in element

Hello everyone.

I would like to ask some question about assign different material and separate different conduit. I have a problem I need assign different material to same element.

For example I create three type of conduit

1)   telecom conduit, Blue colour PVC,

2)    Signal A conduit, Green colour PVC,

3)    High voltage conduit, Red colour PVC,

If I change the material in manage>object style >conduit >material
than all conduit will be change in same colour.

How can I change separate colour in same type of conduit?

Matthew

I would recommend using View Filters to designate specific colors to your different Conduit Types. You will need one for each separate color with the Filter Rules set to filter by Type Name. These View Filters will then be added to the proper Views (via Visibility/Graphics or View Template) under "Filters". Assign the desired Surface Pattern color override to each View Filter.
