We are using Revit MEP 2010 and have been working with an architect using shared coordinates. In our last update to the background model we noticed the architect moved the building about 4 feet. however, none of our fixtures or devices moved with it. Has anyone seen this and know of a way to move everything without rehosting each individual item (would take a long time as we are past 50%)? We have verified that the building was moved on purpose.
If it has been purposely done, and you are using shared coordinates, the first point to look at would be using the coordination review tool - do you get a message when opening you file saying it needs a review?
We did NOT get the Coordination Review message when opening the project which is another point of concern. We had this project setup before the architect decided to use Shared Coordinates. We have noticed that Since using the Shared Coordinates; Revit seems to have a hard time holding onto the positioning.
