Align the insertion point of a cable tray with the bottom elevation

Currently, when you put in a ladder electrical tray with the justificatiion Center-Bottom at a particular height (say 7') the offset will be something like 7' 0 3/4".  I would like to modify the family system so that the the elevation of the insertion point is equal to the Bottom Elevation of the cable tray to avoid confusion.  How do I do that?  Attached is an screenshot of a cable tray's properties to show you what I mean.

One cannot modify System Families beyond adjusting its Type Properties.

Is there a way to set offset to be the bottom of cable tray (not center - as it is by default)?
