240 v Circuits

I can't get my 240V loads to connect to my panel. The panel is tied to a distribution system 120/240 with voltage definitions.  The 120V circuits work but not the 240V loads.  Where should a look for the problem.

Be sure to check the 'Type Properties' of the device or equipment you are trying to circuit to the 240V panel. Make sure the voltage for the device matches the range of the panel. You may find you need to specify 220V instead of 240V. You may also have to adjust the VA for the apparent load to make sure the panel load tabulates correctly.
