2013 Section view graphic display changes depending on angle

When I rotate a section, the section view toggles between wireframe and shaded, but the view is set to shaded.

I have toggled the hardware acceleration, tested another users machine, update 2 installed.

This only happens on 1 project.

Ideas?

Strange. Does it behave the same if you draw a new Section horizontally, set it to Wireframe, and then rotate the new one?

Yes it does. I'm cluless on this one.

We also had 1 plan view duct shaded, but all of the fittings wouldn't.

We had to delete the view and re-create a new one.

Maybe it has something to do with the round duct. Tee a rectangular duct into the main and then rotate that Section to view it...

[Solved]

It turns out it has to do with the linked civil site DWG file.

In the DWG file there was an entity miles away on the site plan.

We deleted the element and reloaded the DWG into RVT and the sections work as expected now.
