Align to Center Tool

In having to go through numerous differently shaped rooms centering fixtures and devices, I've found drawing dimension lines, click EQ, deleting them, and clicking unconstrain to be cumbersome. Could there be a tool in which you select two aligned faces (like a dimension) and then select an element's plane to align centered between them?

there is Snap To midpoint of 2 point in autodesk that I would use for this, I think the description of your proposed tool is nice.

just pick an object then pick the 2 objects you want it centered on, then have the option to lock it the same as any other align tool.

lighting layouts would be so much easier.Smiley Happy
