working in two versions

I'm currently using AutoCAD REVIT SERIES 8.1 at home, but at school we use 8.0 is there some way to save my work at home so I can open it at school without it saying that it won't work because it was created in a later version? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

No - Revit is not backward compatible. You should be able to install 8.0
alongside your 8.1 installation with the same license number.
