visibility of walls in elevations

in our current project the interior walls from the architects linked model are visible in our model Floor Plan), but when I place an elevation marker, the walls do not appear. I've looked at the visibilty graphics menu, but can't find any reason for this. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Are you talking about placing an interior elevation marker inside the building or an exterior elevation marker outside the building? Exterior elevations will not see the walls inside the building. Post an image of what you see and be a little more specific on the view info.

Thanks for responding. It is an interior elevation marker in an interior room, I've attached the area of plan and the elevation. I don't know how specific I can be, so if you have a particular question that might need answering, please ask. I have the feeling it's a simple solution regarding linked models that I'm just not aware of, but as I've said, nothing seems appearent throught the visibility graphic window.
