Bit old but having similar thoughts as you Willie...anyone? I'm trying to create the tiles that are cut off at the ends of the roof where they join up at the valleys. Hips I can deal with. But at the valleys the original tiles stop and Revit converts them to a glazed system panel - argh! Attached an image to make things clearer.

Use adaptive components for them.

Hey Toan,

AC's for the areas where tiles are missing by the valleys of the roof? Can you create an AC to cover the whole of this area?Apologies - AC's are not my speciality unfortunately...

I think using adaptive families for the odd shaped tiles only should be
sufficient. If you want to use them for the entire roof you would need to
redo it with divided surface. A possibility but unnecessary IMO.
