to draw site work , add berm drain slope protection, sewer pipe.

hi all ,

i work is only in structure model , but now in this new project i have to model site model inclusive of:

-berm drain, how to draw?

-concrete slope (skin) how to draw.

-manhole(i manage to create family),

-sewer pipe( try to create for component using line base but when i draw, it set to one level, i can set the start and end point to diferent level , i can do that  as i use mep. but in mep no material in concrete pipe or clay(VCP) pipe.

Hi Iskandar,

For modeling berm drain in Revit you can follow this guidance link :

concrete slope skin, depending on shape in the surface but this link will guide you regarding that slope :

For manhole modeling you can see this link (follow part 1-6 😞

Regarding sewer pipe, yes it can create pipe from line. Revit doesn’t have 3D polyline that why we cannot create line from different level. Manually you can do with set view to the frontline then then create line with different level.

Pipe module in Revit already accommodate slope and change different level, you can create directly without line.

For the material you just go to pipe setting, the segment and size then you can create new concrete material.
