scaling room tags

Hi Everyone;

We are finally doing our first real project (in Rac 2009). My question is Can we scale a room tag on the plan sheet so it will come up smaller on the sheet. Is it possible? I know when you bring it in on the plan it scales itself to what scale shows but can you actually scale manually if the room is to small? There is nowhere to put it elsewhere and I have to keep the overall size for the whole building. If you can let me know. Have a nice day all.

You have to make a smaller tag and change the size
of the text. This will be an opportunity for you start editing families.
Something you need to know if you are going to become proficient with
Revit.

Hi CDV;

Thanks for the information. I'll try it out. Now for another question. Can you change a dimension to read what you want to read without actually moving the dimension? Like going from 52'-3 5/16" to 52'-4" or 52'-3". Any and all help appreciated. Thanks and have a nice day.

Nope, the wall has to move in order for the
dimension to read what it should.  When you click on the wall the
dimension should highlight so type in the dimension that you want it to be and
the wall will move to that dimension.  I guess for really small fractions
you can also change the number rounding to 1" under project units.
