What is the "Family Type" parameter used for? I was hoping that I could use it to assign a particular type to a nested family...but it doesn't seem to work that way.

Thats not exactly what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a specific parameter that is available when creating a new parameter in a family using the Parameter "Add" button...please see the attached screen shot.
