partial height ceramic tile

Hello-

I am trying to figure out a way to show a bathroom wall that has half height ceramic tile. I.e. the bottom half of the wall has ceramic tile wainscoating, the top not. I can't seen to do it by vertically subdividing regions since the regions must be in plane. I can't seem to do it as a sweep either since I don't have a profile. Is there an easy way to do this?

If you are using Revit 8.0 you can do it as per attached image. Unlock tile
component(s) in wall edit section dialog box, then in section view drag tile
layer down to your liking.
It seems that version 8.1 isn't allowing unlocking individual wall
components..

Could someone verify that please.

Here are some samples. All work well depending on the final design....

My question was weather individual components within a wall can be unlocked
in 8.1. I can't.

An individual or a series of consecutive layers can be unlocked in 8.1. See
my example where I did just that.
