help: storefront glazing and landscape greyed out when exporting to CAD

I'm currently working on my sections for a project and it seems that when I export my Revit files to CAD they are plotted light grey that is hardly visible to the eye. I was hoping to make everything black so in CAD i just select the whole thing and adjust the colour to white (which in turn would plot black).

However, the storefront glazing (minus the mullions) and landscape all end up greyed out, which is of no use to me! Everything looks fine on Revit but why does it have to change colour?! help!

When you setup your Export layer settings (File menu>Import/Export Settings>Export Layers DWG/DXF) for Layer Names and Color ID you set the Curtain Wall Panels and Mullions and the Topography Primary and Secondary Contours to color 7 (Black or White in AutoCAD depending on your screen background color)?
