hatch22 - hatch pattern generator

hmmm...so this is an experiment, i'm curious how it'll work out.

I've written a routine for creating revit hatch patterns (.pat) from within Revit.

you can find it here:

Please let me know of any problems, suggestions, etc. (comments link)

 THANHTRUNGTRUON,

I'm creating a video tutorial based on your slate pattern. Until then, this is a repeat pattern that will work for you.

Please note that you need to download the newer version (c).

Dear Mertens3d,

Thanks for your help, but I still confuse about the way to create this pattern hatch, hear my steps :

01. drawing detail line as you see in my revit file,

02. Go to add-in -->merten3d-->hatch22

03.push mouse in Make Subcategories, but I can't see any thins change

04. push Make hatch From selection, and an alarm appear: " at least 2 boundary are requires. Please draw all lines as detail lines

Please show me, thanks for your help

THANHTRUNGTRUONG3295,

re: http://mertens3d.com/revit-2011-addin-portal/hatch22/

i've refined the help file.

"Make Subcategories" --> I've added some feedback on my routine (it'll show up on the next build).

re: step 3 of the help file

If you look at the linestyles in your revit file you'll see that 3 hatch22 lines styles were created.

re: step 4.

You need to assign one of the three hatch22 linestyles to each of your lines.

Make sense?

Gregory
