foundation plans

Hello, does anybody have any completed foundation plans that they would like
to post so I could see how they were put together. I need to get a quick
foundation plan out and I am thinking about just drawing it with lines so it
get done but I don't want to do that on future projects. What is the best
way to put a wall together? Stack a conc. wall over a footing or draw two
separate entities? My problem right now is that I created a stack wall and
all that I can get to show is the footing. I have adjusted the view range
and that hasn't changed anything except not showing anything. Any help
would be appreciated.

I typicaly have the foundation wall modeled with the footing attached as a sweep, then I create a new floor plan with the view range set to cut through my foundation. So I usually have a level called t.o. footing and that is the level I create my foundation plan from. Note that you can define a wall as a foundation wall, which means it will draw down from the level you draw it at, so you can create the foundation wall type, then from your first floor plan just trace your plan or use the pick tool to pick the path of the wall based on your first floor plan.
