font difference between AutoCAD and Revit

We are trying to replicate our current autocad titleblock in Revit

The font in Autocad is Arial with a width factor 1.

But when I use what I think is the same arial font in Revit the total width of a word or string of words is slightly longer in Revit then AutoCAD.

Does autocad do something different to the font than Revit does?
Any thoughs

Thanks

Hmm, I'd just tried adjusting the width factor in revit until you get a close match...

I assume you are talking about R8 - what about R7?

width factor upon import was just introduced in r8. There is no width
factor in r7 of Revit.

I think something is awry, perhaps the intended scale of the text height is different than the scale of the view you are importing to? I have the same width when I try it...see attached image.
