elevation target arrow head for spot elevation

I would like to use an elevation target that is filled as opposed to the open (unfilled) elevation target that is provided. is there a way to change it out or add the filled elevation target head to the list of arrow heads.

my ultimate goal is to have the target symbol be at the actual location where the elevation is taken from when using the spot elevation.

You can create your own Elevation Target Family using the "Spot Elevation Symbol" Family Template. Once loaded into the Project, you can set this Family as the "Symbol" under Type Properties.

The list of available arrowheads can be amended (to a limited degree) under Manage tab » Additional Settings ▼ Arrowheads.
