i have a drawing in revit 7 but would like more flexibilty regarding changing line types , line thickness, hatch patterns etc. for example a section view generated from the model shows too many lines i can do without
is there a way of using the original model as base drawing in, say, drafting view and importing components or drawing lines over it to achieve an output which is not just a 2d view of the model
any help appreciated
create the view, then in view properties, change the model display value to underlay, then once you have all your work done, you can change it to do not display and you will still see your grids and levels but not the model.
