differents between attch an join?

when you choose a wall and you do attach and then select a floor, is it the same when you do join geometry and you selec a wall and a floor?
need help

i did some test and i found out you cant join them togather, but still i need a brief explinatation the difference btween both, what could be applicable to a wall

When you attach the top of the wall to a floor, the height of the wall changes. If you move the level of the floor up and down the
wall will get higher or lower to stay attached to it. Also, if the floor is sloped the top of the wall will be sloped.

On the other hand, join geometry only cleans up the intersection of the wall and the floor. It won't change the height of the wall.
