deleting wall types

I have a wall type one tag SOMEWHERE in the file but it is not visible...I have tried to isolate and show hidden but when I go to create a wall type tag it says that the number is already in use...any suggestions? I have this problem with levels as well...

make a wall schedule. Find the wall number in the schedule. highlight the
cell of the wall in the schedule and click Show in the Options Bar. this
will open a view and show the wall that has that number in the model. You
can delete the wall or renumber it.

Thanks...I have created the schedule...unfortunately there is not a listing for the number that I am trying to delete (1). I suppose I need to choose a wall that I want to be no. 1 and give that the designation of 1. I suppose through trial and error I'll get to the bottom of this.

ahhh....i think you have wall 1 in a different phase. set your schedule
properties to Project completion and show all.

I am not sure about the phase Project Completion but I adjusted the phases and still to no avail.

I believe you have Type Marked a wall with the number that has been delected or not used. You would have to go through all of the wall types you currently have that are not being used and check for a Type Mark parameter setting for the number in question. Two wall types cannot have the same Type Mark or Mark.
