Does not work, send in a report to Autodesk. Alternative is to draw a detail line on your runs and add an arrow to the end.

Is this still not resolved?  I am fairly new to revit and have a series of ramps which I would really like to annote without having to draw 2D lines.

Thanks.

Use the spot slope annotation tool on a floor, then move it to the ramp.

Thanks so much for the reply.  I had actually seen this 'solution' on a revit blog site, but sadly it is not working for me (Revit 13 on Windows 7).  I have simply made an arrow group and added it manually in 2d - not ideal I know, but when you need to issue drawings to a deadline...
