The only you can do is in the "open" dialog box, you have an option "detach from central". You can check it, but then have to save as another central file.
I´m not sure if it works, but try Copy/past to a new empty project.

No. Once worksets are enabled on a project there is no going back.

But a workset project that has been "detached from central" can be opened
and saved as a "normal" file. You just use the "save to central" button
rather than the normal Save icon.
