Wood Framing package

I understand that the wood framing package is an add-in or plugin for Revit Architecture. I also understand that it came out over a year ago.

Is this now part of the base package of Revit 2012? Or where can I get it to work on Revit 2012? Is it still part of some subscription pack?

Thanks!

The Wood Framing Walls tool is part of the Extensions for Revit Architecture. The package is available for download through the Subscription Center, but the 2012 version has not been released yet (we don't have an official date yet for when it will be).

Is there an estimated date on when this plug in will be available for 2012?  Also is it a tool that will calculate and recalculate the number of studs necessary for a wall as you modify the length?

Very interested in being able to use it.

Thanks!

Unfortunately we do not have an official date yet set on when the Extension will be available for 2012.

As you modify the length of the wall it will not update automatically - you can re-execute the tool and it will regenerate the studs based on the updated shape.
