how fast is your processor and how much RAM do you have? There is not a MAX file size that Revit can handle. Some people have reported working on 200 meg projects with no problems. Do you have rendered image files in your project? Christie Landry Autodesk Revit Product Marketing Manager "reubencooke" wrote in message news:17829759.1092061284943.JavaMail.jive@jiveforum1.autodesk.com... > school project ( new build )

You need to start using selective open with worksets to work on a project of that size. If you aren't familiar with this check the help files. Basically you only open the workset you are going to work on, this saves you from opening the full 100meg and makes saves quicker.
