Wacom Bamboo crashes Revit 2014

Revit 2014 has been crashing (not on start-up) while performing certain functions from the Ribbon and/or Project Browser.

For example, when drag & dropping a view to a sheet - very fundamental !

An auto-generated tech support response from the crash report suggested a needed update of Wacom drivers for the Bamboo tablet I have plugged in (but not using in Revit).

Even after updating the drivers from Wacom, Revit 2014 crashes continue.

For now, I simply unplugged the idle Bamboo tablet from its USB port.

It seems to have cleared up the drag & drop crash problem for now.

Has anybody else had this problem if using a Wacom?

Is there a fix?

Update 2 for Revit 2014 is applied.

(Revit part of BDSP 2014; Windows 7 Pro x64; Intel Xeon 2.4GHz 6-core E5645; 12G RAM; HP-Z800)

A while ago we had similar reports, and the following blog post seemed to fix the issue. Please let me know if it works for you.
