WANTED: Bullet point list for drawing an existing building from scratch

I'm confident using most of the functions included within Revit, I was just wondering if someone could suggest a bullet point list (not a tutorial) on the best order in which to create a model of an existing building.

Including architectural footprint; (including different materials for structural and non-structural elements) windows; doors; roof.

After which possibly electrical outlets; lighting; other service outlets etc.

Thanks in advance - this place is full of knowledge, I'm sure someone has done this before...
