Visibility override

2 questions:

Question 1:

I try to do the override of the floor under the visibility/graphic overrides.  When I change the cut patterns overide to fill solid black, any lines that go between the floors are blackout.  But when I choose fill solid white, the lines will show up as that's a transparent white.  What's the reason of it?

Question 2:

How do I get rid of the lines that are going throught the floor such as walls?  I remember there's an override that you can apply to the floors that all of the lineworks or vertical elements be "trimmed" off the boundary of the floors.  Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

Click "Join Geometry", then click the floor, then click the wall.

1) do you see your floors transparent even if you don't select them ?

2) you can switch off the visibility of floor edge, or try join geometry if the materials are same.
