Training/Reference books

Hi all, Just wondering has anybody tried the CDV Systems Introductory course-ware (www.cdvsystems.com) OR the Autodesk equivalent? If so - pros and cons - or general opinions? Are there any other worthwhile books out there? Appreciate any responses. TIA, Adam McNeill -- Adam McNeill CADNorth Pty Ltd GPO Box 1141 Darwin NT 0801 ph. 08 89420399 fax. 08 89420799 email: adam@cadnorth.com.au

See Autodesk Courseware available on the E Store!!! thread. Or got to http://estore.autodesk.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry16?SP=10024&PN=29&xid=19515&V1=31033972&V2=31033972&V3=1&V5=11000239&V4=10&S1=&S2=&S3=&S4=&S5=&DSP=0&CUR=840&PGRP=0&CACHE_ID=0 I don't have a comparison, but the Autodesk Official Training Material is very good and was written by Autodesk's Consulting Group. There is a thread on AUGI that talked about Cyril's book. http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=1164&highlight=book In addition see this thread on AUGI as well http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=6082 It has another book from the Autodesk Press written by two Revit Users! It's got some great stuff in it as well. It was only release a few weeks ago. I don't mean to throw another option in the ring, but if you are debating the material you should know what's available. Anyone else have any input? I hope this helps.
