Topography-Importing LandXML files

I want to creat a topo surface based on a dwg file I have received from a surveyor. The surveyors CAD file has a layer dedicted to a 3D surface, the surface looks good. When I creat a topo surface based on this layer the result doesn't look like the 3d surface in the AutoCad file.

Someone suggested getting a LandXML file off the surveyor and try importing that into the Revit project. I have now got the XML file but I have no means of importing it. Is there an addon to Revit I need? Any help would be appreciated.

Can you upload the AutoCAD file? I'd like to take a look at it.

Thanks for posting,

I has one the AutoCAD techs look at your file and he found several issues.

1. The drawing was save in an non Autodesk application.

2. He found many errors.

3. He received an "unrecognized version and cannot be read" message.

4. The geometry is 41 miles away from the origin. This in itself will cause issue in Revit.

See the attached.
