I've been tasked with creating Revit families of some standard details we're going to be used in some projects. I can create all the elements of stairs and railings for this particular detail apart from the end where the top rail and middle rail join together at the bottom of the steps.
I also need the railing to level off horizontally at the top of the steps and join onto a different type of railing that will go around the structure. Is that possible? (See attachment)
The height of both types of railing are the same, but the middle rail is higher up on the steps compared to when on a structure. Can two different types join (or look as though they are joined?) or do both railings need to be of the same type?
Thanks for any help.
