System requirements for work sharing

Using work sharing on two computers in the same office, what is the minimum stuff required to use the work-sharing in Rivet?  Do I need to have a dedicated server or can I just share the central file on windows 7 work-groups?

You can host the model anywhere - both computers that need to access it need to be able to see it and have read/write access to it.

I hadn't used the network address when opening the file from the computer that has storing the central file.  Works as it should when you do that.
