Symbols in windows?

I'm drawing up a family of windows, and within them I would like to add a symbol to note that a type might be reversible. In the UK this is done as a arc around to about 150 degrees, with an arrow on the end.

I can draw this in each and every window type, then constrain every part of the geometry, but that is a bit clumsy, I would rather drawing the symbol once, placing it on my elevations and then constraining the centre of the symbol only.

Any suggestions as to how this might be done, given Window family types won't let you add symbols, and annotation objects scale with the display scale, something I don't want?

Found it, drawing it as a Detail Item.
