Spot Slope for Ramps

Is there a reason 'Spot Slope' works for floor slabs, but not ramps (in section)? 

 

Is there a work-around to have slopes notated for ramps?

Adding my own workaround since none of these worked for me. 

 

Tag a parking spot and offset the tag to the desired place.

Revit is amazing
