How do I create a spline baluster?

If you mean the path is a spline, you cant. You'll have to just use a series of arcs. I like using the tangent arc tool for the best results.

Thanks for the reply I created it with arcs.

One other thing. How do I create one single stringer that has a custom shape?

Do I just create the stringer in the same baluster file one tread length?

What is the shape? If it is something like a c-channel stringer, create a profile and use it in the rail structure of the stair and that profile will follow the path of the rail. If you post a sketch of what you want I'll try to help.
