Snap To Midpoint Between Two Points

It seems that the current version of Revit still does not has the Snap To Midpoint Between Two Points, is that correct?

Scott - I s there any update to this? Is Revit going to have this snap eventually? It is a very convenient way to copy or move grouped elements...

I agree it is a very useful tool. Has anyone created a macro that will accomplish this?

Cant a MACRO be added in Revit to pick the midpoint between two points?

Place an adaptive component with start and end adaptive points, and the third point constrained to be always in the middle of the two points. Snap your other elements to the third point.

I'm not sure I understand your instructions... also, why hasn't AutoDesk just added this popularly requested feature to Revit?  I use it ALL THE TIME in AutoCAD.

See screencast below for the instruction.  Are you asking me why or it is just an expression?

This useful snap missing in Revit is used a lot when you do reflected ceiling plans and need to locate the lighting and other ceiling elements, among other of its possible many uses.  This is another of these snaps that eliminate some steps.

It seems that Revit need an "evangelist" to publicly identify these issues like Lynn Allen used to do with AutoCAD.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
