Shared params examples

Can I have some examples of where you use shared params?

A shared parameter is any parameter that you create above and beyond the parameters that come with Revit. You will have ashared parameter file that stores these, which shou;d be a central location so everyone in your group uses the same shared parameter file. Yes, I understand that... I was looking for some parameter names, to see what I should think about

I set up a shared parameter file for all parameters we typically use in family creation and project info.

For example

Panel Width
Panel Thickness
Panel Material
Glass Material
Frame Material
Trim Projection
Trim Width
Abbreviation
Program Area
Transom Height
Radius

Basically any dimension or material parameter you will ever use, this way you only type it once and it can be scheduled whenever needed.

The Abbreviation parameter really helps with room tags
note you must load shared parameters into your project before they are available for schedules, you do this under project parameters.
