Selecting component causes it to move

Using Revit 2013, following along on NER book.

I have inserted some components, like toilets, urinals, toilet stalls.

Some of the components will shift location a foot or so when I select them, like the sinks, urinals, and also a floor will shift.

Anyone else having this happen? Any solutions?

Thanks,

GChapp

This isn't typical behaviour of Revit.

If you are having issues with this, try deselecting the 'Press & Drag' checkbox in the bottom right hand corner.

I've found more info on this on another forum.

So I turned off P&G which stopped things moving from the earthquake.

But also unplugged the monitors (2) and switched plugs, and made the Revit monitor the primary.

So no more earthquake.

As I understand the cause is not consistent from computer to computer, but for me it seems to be fixed, no more screen dance.
