We are looking at Schedules at the moment and come across an issue
I have a building with 10 rooms called 1 to 10. I have put a room tag in with the area shown and when we create the area schedule the room name and area are shown.
The rooms all have a floor & ceiling finishes & doors, when we do the same for these schedules we can have every field we could desire except for the room name.
So we can see the make, manufacturer, level, etc but not the location within the building.
What must we do to be able to include the room name within the schedule?
Thank you
Hi,
As you have noticed some schedules do not have a selection for fields from rooms (see screenschot).
For example a door schedule has a "from room" and "to room".
In many cases it is logical that a category does not have a room field....to which room does a door belong, or a wall covering several levels?
So it is dependent on the type of schedule which fields/parameters are available.
Sometimes you can make your schedule based on a "Multiple Category" schedule (which has room:name field).
However in that schedule other fields/parameters you want to use might not be available.
Sometimes you have to resolve to add parameter(s) to your families or use project parameter(s) to accomplish what you need.
